Default Ford Stock Eliminator Carburator ?

If I wanted to run a 1970 Ford with a 351 Cleveland4v engine in Stock would I have to run an Autolite 4300 Carb or a Holley or Quickfuel 600 cfm street carburator? I know its probably a dumb question thanks

In 1970, the Autolite carb is the only option.

Different story in 71:

280hp Alt carbs Holl D0OF-N/SM D0OF-R/AUTO
285hp Alt carbs Holl D0OF-N/SM D0OF-R/AUTO

Holley #03310-1 or the Quickfuel NHRA approved replacement are legal.

.....and this as well for both combinations

Alt alum manifolds D1ZX-AA,CA,DA

Not the complete picture, but some insight to the reason why the 1970 Clevelands are unpopular.

I would bet that a post in the Parts Classifieds forum here would turn up a good core. Failing that, check with Alex Denysenko at MoneyMaker Racing. Not much related to Ford that's beyond his reach.

In the pic we're running the '72 266/328hp combination.

I have a nicely restored (show car condition) '70 4300 Autolite prepped by Don O'Malley I would sell for less than I have in it. $550 include shipping.
