I just bought a 65 Impala and will be building a new stocker using the 396/325 motor from my old 68 Impala, (which was sold and restored back to its original 427/425 self) Engine specs are the same except i can use the "small" Holley. Not knowing a lot about it , it looks like a run-of-the-mill 1850 600 cfm Holley? Is there a NHRA replacement Holley I can use?
Will Lamprecht My old Impala went 11.70 at 4100 in I/S with this motor. WEEE |

After you confirm the p/n, call Quick Fuel and see what they can supply to you. They may not have it listed in the book but I have no doubt they will build you one and get it NHRA approved.

impstocker, I think you would be better off using a quadajet carb, its 750 cfm over the 600 holley, just my opinion. Tom

I called Quick Fuel and they told me they had a 3310 780 Holley that was approved for a 70 383 Challenger, not sure who's answering the phone there but I knew he had no idea what he was talking about.

Holley bought Quick Fuel last fall. Call back and ask for Scooter or Phillip. I think they have the small Carb approved for stock and super stock.

Actually it looks like the same holding company that owns Holley reportedly bought Quickfuel.
A rather unusual turn since Quickfuel's Marvin Benoit used to be Holley's president. Still a great product......Zack Baker is the man to talk to., ..He really helped me out with a great carb for my SG car ,and I know several SS cars that have really shined after switching to their carbs.
