Default 73 nova body

hi a friend of mine has a old 73 nova body with a diff year front clip its 70 to 71 and wants to run stock can he use this body for a 68 to 71 body i know the rear 1/4 glass is diff and the doors need vent windows in stall he wants to use a 350 engine with a 350 trans and the 8.5 rear

73 would have to be 73 or 74 as you could make 68-72 with one of those years or 75-78 with one of those year cars,w' the proper changes.

75-80 was a whole different body/subframe/ you name it...
73-74 would be the best (cheapest) option...

73-74 has a different rear body panel bumpers and related items I think the interior is quite different also IIRC, it would be far cheaper and easier to just us the 73-4 front sheetmetal.

73 and 74 are really different. IT would nt pass as a 68-72

put the correct front end on it and then build for that year.....definitely would not pass as a 68-72....also a 68 ignition key is on the dash and not steering column .

Reread my post may have been confusing?
what I was trying to say was 68 -72 car could be made into 68-72
73-74 could be either
75-78(forgot they went to80 could be 75-80

door lock position was different from 68 to 69-72 also

Does he have his heart set on a 68-72 body? Why not make it a 73 or 74? I think the fenders are even the same, just different trim pieces.
