What was it like? How long was it open? Stand-alone drag strip or part of a oval?

Thanks Logus. Yeah, I saw those pics and a few more on the 'Net. Also saw a quote somewhere that the place was a "cow pasture track." Maybe? I never went there.

Was hoping that anyone who did go there would comment for a bit about the place. Those pictures look like late '60s...maybe early '70's...and was wondering if someone built this as a local place to race...when the Vargo track closed down?

Anyone?
