If it is a 300 hp version, it could have 461X heads which would up the ante a bit. Hemmings is a good place to sell such stuff.

What version of 327 is it? A 250 horse has a 4 jet carb, the skinny intake, #520 or #896 heads,(power packs with the little pyramid), and exhaust manifolds with a 2" outlet. The 327 has an AFB, the wide intake( #459) . and a set if 461 camel hump heads .They also had the 2 1/2" exhaust pipes like a 409 had. Should bring a few hundred bucks at least. Good find!

If that's an original never rebuilt complete take out engine, it's probably worth around $650-1000 depending on condition, but only if it still has an original standard block and crank. Those are almost made of unobtanium. Also, with an 896 head, it's a 250 horse. Might be a good Stock Eliminator piece with a #459 intake and a 4 jet. What happened to the 62 Chevy?

Last year I bought a complete 1968 327-250hp engine that had been pulled out of a wrecked '68 Caprice 20 years ago. It was from the air cleaner to the pan, flex plate to the fan, for $250.00.
