Default What shocks are you running on your nova/camaro?

Sold my other car today so I am moving forward on my 74 nova.. I am keeping the chassis legal for stock... I a, looking at putting the Afco shocks all around and the Calvert bars and split leafs...

My car has the stock drums so I will be putting disc brakes all around wildwood or strange haven't made up my mind.. It currently has the 8.5 10 bolt with moser axles and spool but I would like to find a 12 bolt so I could run a pro gear

What shocks are you guys running?

It really depends on many things, but unless you have BIG HP you can use a set of of Competition Eng or Koni shocks. 90/10 will work just fine unless you are doing a big wheel stand.

Work on weight transfer to hook ( I use a set of Comp Eng in the rear) and the car will setlle down fine without buying Afco shock$.

You are buying good parts from Calvert, you could buy a set of front shocks from Calvert as well.

Spend your money on the trans, converter or motor.

Good luck with your project.
