OUR CHRISTMAS PRESENT 2012
Today I was just minutes away from an operation that I probably would not have survived.Just before they were to take me in for the 4th time a doctor we had never seen before walked into the room and talked with Connie and I about what was getting ready to happen.He decided to cancell the operation because while we were talking he came up
with an idea of using a combination of meds and doubling the dose.He left for a brief period of time to meet with the team of drs. on my case.When one of the other drs.on the team came back we were told they all agreed to try it. We still do not know who this dr is,,we never seen him again.This last minute idea could only have been the act of God intervening.Connie and I prayed all night last night and with the prayers of all of you he made things happen. On a side note,The last 3 hrs before surgery time I got the best rest I have had in weeks.When I woke my headache,dizziness,and weakness were not present and the feeling to my left side was restored.I believe God heard and answered all of your prayers or I would not be here right now typing this note. I am to take this medicine at double doses for a month and if everything is ok then the blockages should be gone when they check again. Thank you all for the prayers and to my wife who never left my side during all of this.Just to let you know how serious this was , all the funeral arrangements had been made before going into operating room.So again I thank you all for the best Christmas present I ever received.
