Default Dirt Track Parts?

Are any of you using or considered using circle track parts on you car, such as the low friction bushings, trailing arms, or especially headers? I still get these catalogs from my roundy-round days and noticed that 1 5/8-1 3/4 step headers for a SBC are only $179, wondering if anyone has ever tried a set with any success?

You have to consider the design of the headers. Have to remember that oval track cars have no fender wells and most of the time the collector routes outside the frame not on the inside like a stock or super stock car. If they have a stock routing I would try them to see how good they are for $179.

Schoenfeld Headers, who has specialized on circle track application headers has diversified and sells low budget headers for drag racing applications, including crate engine applications.

That's funny, they look exactly the same as the dirt track headers.

Not always, I ran WISSOTA street stock for 3 years, didn't have inner fenders, but still had to keep headers inside framerails. I just used cheapy Summit headers at the time.
