Smile Headers

Replacing my headers and I'm wondering if there is a "better" header to use than the ones I'm using now.?
1978/79 Camaro(I/S).Was using Hooker Super Comp,ceramic coated.
Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated.

Jere Stahl, if he's still making them, makes a better header. NitroPlate has the best coating, and they're definitely still coating headers.

Mark Lelchook at Performance Welding would be my choice on several levels. One of them being that they are stainless and a lot easier to spot a dead or dying cylinder with a heat gun over coated headers.

Did Mark build the headers on the LT1 that you drive?
