Is there a way to swap the float bowls on my 4150 Holley Double Pumper (750cfm) for two float bowls that have the fuel delivery location (fittings) on the driver's side, instead of the passenger side?
If not, I'll just have to turn the carburetor around 180 degrees and rig a throttle cable to work from the front, I guess, but I'm really hoping I don't have to do that. Does Holley (or, anyone) make such a part??? Somebody told me that there are some Fords with such a configuration... Any help would be appreciated!

The factory high performance Ford Holleys with the center hung float bowls have threaded inlets on the primary bowl only. They had a thread in fuel filter on the drivers side, with a small transfer tube between the primary & secondary bowls. I`m not sure if you could use 2 of the Ford primary bowls for both, since the the sight plug hole is often at a different level between the pri & sec sides. Also, most of the Ford Holleys have a hole in the top of the primary float bowl, for use with a bowl vent lever setup. Not really something I would want on a rear bowl, due to potential fuel leakage on launch. Holley 4500 Dominators do have float bowls that are threaded on both sides, and I think they will work on a 4150/4160 carb. You could look into that.

As I remember there is a slight difference in the height of the plug for checking fuel height if you dry set the floats with a drill or calipers no worry!

Thank you ALL for that great information!!!
I have ordered two of the 134-108 replacements from Summit, and will now be able to avoid the hassles of having to turn the carb around. I REALLY appreciate all the good information; I knew I could count on you guys... you're the best! Have a good weekend!!!
