Default assembly lube

Getting ready to put together a motor for super gas, and would like to find out what lube is being used for the bearing, and pistons during assembly. Plan to put it together, and store it until I need it. I have always used heavy oil, but I know there are other options. Would appreciate, you input, and thanks you, in advance. All babbit bearings, roller cam, no roller cam bearings.

Talking Re: assembly lube

There is a German Lubricant called "Veiner Slider" that works well as a multi-purpose lubricant
