Default Simpson belt recertification

Does anyone recertify their belts anymore? Or do you have to buy new ones? Mine are due in the middle of this summer, and want to get it taken care of before then.

Thanks for any help.

I bought RCI Platinum belts which come with a certificate good for one re-certification--you only pay $20 s&H. The process took 3 weeks and it appears they sent complete new belts.

CROW is the place to get either new belts or belts re-webbed ......

I had Simpson belts and they refused to re-web their own belts......

I contacted CROW and they not only re-webbed the belts, but made the shoulder belts a custom length....

Good people, good product, good price and a very fast turnaround time......

It looks like the RCI platinum is the way to go. I am tired of being in the middle of the season, and worrying about my belts being out of date. Our first divisional is not until May, and I am trying to get things organized before the start of the season.

Thanks
Sean

I also have the RCI Platinum. When we had to recertify our junior dragster belts, I had to send them to M&R in New Jersey....however, the interesting part is that they sent them to Stroud in Oklahoma City for the re-cert. Stroud shipped them direct to me.
If you go another route, it wouldn't hurt to check with them, and they were quick.

I sent mine to Stroud last week on Tuesday and they came back this week on Wednesday.
I am good to go for another two years for $78 including shipping.
They told me they only did recert on Stroud belts which I have had now for 6 plus years when Simpson stopped doing the recerts on their belts.
My 2 Cents
