Default 440 block end rails?

i have had my a '68 440ci mopar block sq. decked, how much can safely be removed from the end rails? mild rebuild for street/strip use... any help is great, thanks.

I would mock it up with the intake, heads and head gasket's you plan to use and see if it need's to have the end rails machined at all. How much was taken off the deck? Those tin intake gasket's are pretty forgiving.
