A friend of mine is building a jr. stocker and needs to know what are the best carbs to use on the 283. He has manifold. Help chevy guys!

He has only one choice carter 2626s and carter 2627s that being the smaller carb.

Aren't those the WCFB Carters ? If they are, they weigh just about 18 pounds apiece ! Do give them some serious thought! .........John
