I just bought an extra 305 today out of an 81 Z-28.... it has an Edelbrock Performer on it....I also has the same intake on the shelf...they look nothing alike? I know the one I have my brother-n-law bought back in the early 90's....the one on the 305 looks to be lower but with larger runners? What one would be best? P.S. looking in Jeg's the one I have looks like the one in the Edelbrock picture....the one on the 305 looks like the picture of the Weiand action plus?? they are both Performers for small block chevy but no part #'s on either?

i've had both (early and late ) performers,i'd sell 'em both and get a rpm....
even the weiand version is no ball of fire (still have one if anybody's interested) no dyno #'s but i personally don't think they're much better than a stock manifold. |

I've got a Q-jet I'm going to use so I'm going to use one or the other that I have.
