The 359 is the legal replacement for the 163 intake. That's the one you want, in most cases. You may find the rare 163 that makes power, but odds are you'll go through 10 to do it.

From a quick search the 359 is still available new around $250 Most of the 163's I seen on e-bay were well above that. I would leave the 163's for the collectors and pick up a 359. especially if people say they make more power.

The biggest difference is in the way the fuel channels run in the bottom of the area under the carb. Better mixing of the fall out fuel with the air.

Adger how can you tell the the fuel dist is better, I have both intakes and have seem very little diff on the dyno. Jim Hanig just wondering.

Are you using 8 EGT probes, one in each primary tube?
