Default Missing "Drooze"

I really miss all the 'friendly' banter that old Drooze got going. This forum has been pretty quiet this winter. I remember reading his posts and thinking it all had to be BS. He made alot of people believers. I hope his dream continues on! Good Luck to all in 2011. E

It's so easy to think of someone you see on the internet as just a avatar and not really human but after speaking to Chris it really drove home how this guy was for real! I miss him also. Jim

I agree 1000%... Chris was the very first other DP owner I talked to. He called me one night out of the blue and we talked for over 3 hours. We both shared our "journey" in getting our Challengers... We talked many times after that and grew to what I considered "brothers". At least Mopar brothers... He was the kind of guy that would give the shirt off his back and not even expect it to be returned.. I tried to be the same for him..... I'm so glad that David has kept the dream alive..... I know the first decal that will be put on my new car will be the one for him.... I know my brother you are gone but your memory will be ever lasting..

I kept all of my emails from Chris. I can't bear to delete them.

Cool Re: Missing "Drooze"

I hope the kids are doing okay,,,,its a difficult adjustment to have forced upon them. Hopefully David will come on here and let us know they're doing.

Of all the message-posters that I have read on here over the ten, or so, years I've been a member, Drooze was unique; he had no equal. Still doesn't.

Miss him? Hell yes, I miss him! Never met him or talked to him, but he was so "real'.....
My loss...

RIP, Drooze...

He was a great writer for sure. Every one of his post's took you on a little trip with him. The thing that impressed me the most about him was that he rarely lost his cool even with all the nasty and arrogant criticism he received here on a daily basis. Too bad he didn't get to see his dream come true, Paul.

Chris accomplished something I hope to achieve when my time is done...to make a difference and to be remembered for it. Besides loving my kids it is the one thing I am striving for in my life. He certainly left a positive mark with many of us to never give up on your dreams.
