Well here are a few races? Why release a schedule with just a few races. Anyway here it is.
The International Hot Rod Association announced today its first quarter races for the 2011 Summit Pro-Am season which includes stops at Immokalee Regional Raceway, Dallas Raceway and Rockingham Dragway. Immokalee Regional Raceway in southern Florida will open the 2011 Summit Pro-Am season the weekend of February 4-6 with the first race of the Division 2 season the weekend following the Palm Beach Nitro Jam at Palm Beach International Raceway which is scheduled for January 28-29. Division 4 will get its Summit Pro-Am season underway the weekend of March 11-13 at Dallas Raceway and Division 9 will kick off its season at Rockingham Dragway the weekend of March 25-27. Complete Summit Pro-Am divisional schedules will be announced in the coming weeks, in addition to the 2011 Nitro Jam schedule. Visit www.ihra.com regularly for constant updates. Probably just to assuage the internet rumors about Rockingham, not to mention to help people start planning the beginning of their season, instead of making them wait while they nail down the complete schedule.

Last year, the Pro-Am wasn't until May, which is not in the first quarter of the year. They've only announced first quarter events thus far. Hang tight.

Michael that was a bad choice. Same weekend as Houston divisional. Most will go to Houston.

Hang tight everyone.
The schedule should be done by feb 2011. It hard to plan 10-12 National events with only three to four good tracks.

Perhaps they are waiting to see the turnouts first. Then they can decide how many events and locations to offer the rest of the year.
