piston rings

can a .043 ring be used in place of a 1/16 in super stock . can't find any thing about rings in the rule book in super stock.

Since rings are not mentioned in the SuperStock section I think the Stock section is where you need to look.

PISTONS

.....Piston may not be remachined for special rings.....

I know you can use aftermarket pistons, so you can use any rings you want.
I'm not sure about gas ports though.

vertical gas ports are not allowed (doesn't look factory) and you can use any kind of ring, in any location and and number as you wish in Superstock.
