According to Maple Grove's website no pit parking will take place until Thursday - and there will be no racing until Friday - no mention of what will happen to class elims but my guess is that they are history - fastest car Friday will take the trophy ............

From Maple Grove's website:
"Due to persistent showers that started Monday and lasted through today, there will be no Sportsman parking on Wednesday, Oct. 6, for the Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway due to wet grounds. Parking will begin at 7 a.m. Thursday. Because of that, Thursday’s portion of Sportsman racing has been canceled. All classes will get a qualifying run on Friday. The fastest car in each class will determine Stock class winners during qualifying runs on Friday. The stars of the NHRA Full Throttle Series will race at their scheduled times this weekend." |
