anyone know what the best hood for a camaro stocker is? does the cowl hood work that good?

remember no cowl hoods on 67 or 68 camaro. when the hood became avaliable in early 69 it could be ordered on any camaro. if your car was built before hood release date does that mean you can't use it? or can you put one on any 69 camaro?
