Default Cavalier radiator

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase a radiator to cool a 350 LT1 reverse flow engine in a Superstock cavalier.Block is filled and engine overheats quickly with stock rad first time out. Stock rad core is 16 x 26 and 31 inches wide with tanks. LT1 Camaro is too wide. I would like to be able to hot lap. Thanks, Chester Fincke SS 1019 Email lt4race@yahoo.com

Before you change the radiator a few questions: Are you running a fan? Fan Shroud? Did you check the pulley ratio? Fan out of shroud measurement? Using a thermostat or restrictor? Baffles in front of the radiator?

Contact Kirk At BeCool in Essexville Mich. I believe they have a bolt in for your car.

Chester, I use an electric fan and custom built aluminum shroud. You can PM me for more info. This is what I'm using in my 60 Corvette. Wade

Thanks a lot for your responses, I have removed the stock 14 in fan and shroud. I have installed twin 11 in 1000 cfm fans directly on the core but have tested yet. Chester

I would try the stock radiator with the new fans before you purchase a new one. I currently run the OE radiator in my SS/BM cavalier and dont have any problems. I did have it cleaned out a few years ago and that seemed to help.
