car choice
i dont have a big dollar stocker just want to have a car to goout and have alittle fun, i own a 86 buick regal 307 411 gear mild deal or should i look into a 3rd gen firebird a guy has for sale that was raced with a mild sbc in it. thanks for looking

If it's what you like, build it. Lot's of fast 307's out there, so parts and advice should be easy to get. You will probably want a little more gear!

One point for you to consider, how much are you going to spend, if a Stocker you have to at least run the index for that class. Even if you had the car you will most likely spend 10 grand. Everyone can tell you it is cheaper to buy one done than to build one. There are loads of cars for sale on this site and racingjunk, count your beans and get in the game, I even saw an Old's Stocker for 7000. ready to run and dont forget to look a Mark's killer car I sent you.
