Default 4-links kits

I was just getting ready to buy a 4-link kit for my SS/H AMX. It will be all CM. I've seen the East Texas titanium bracket kit (also sold by MW Enterprises) with the top bar bracket that can be flipped over for more finite adjustments down to the 1/2" increments. That's out of my league @ $3K.
But I see Chassis Engineering has a new product which seems to be a copy that is all CM (no titanium) and it's $1650. The question is; is it really that critical to adjust the IC in 1/2" increments? Especially with a relic like a 1970 AMX, not a new Cobalt or similar.
What's the favorite type of rear locating bars? Wishbone?
It'll get what ever the chassis guy wants, I'm just curious what some here may have as input. Never really wanted a 4-link but somehow that's what it's evolving too...

Jeff, I'm going through this right now!

My builder, Kurt at ProStart Race Cars had told me I didn't need that much adjustability. It would be too many knobs to adjust, which made perfect sense to me. He makes all his own brackets out of moly plate specifically for the car being built, but layout looks similar to commercial brackets available.

I also have been looking at all "state of the art" SS cars being built and built for the last six months and haven't seen one with the brackets you mentioned.

One word of caution that I see Kurt stress about is finding non-chinese moly tube. It seems its getting harder to get good ol USA moly tube. And it definitely makes a difference!

jeff, the 1/2 inch adjustments aren't that critical.but you do want to make sure you get a 4-link that will not let you run out of adjustment.

Thanks for all the PM's. Seems just as I thought, probably not that critical.

What's a few more months right Jeff? We need every H car we can get. I think there is 6 or 7 total across the US. I'm going to give it a go at the IHRA ProAm in March in Dallas. Wish you could be there.
