Default Breaking parts, due to Torque

I've been breaking some parts. When I let go of the tranny brake.
Now the new motor seems to have 20 ft pounds more torque. I'm worried about making the problem worse
Wondering if retarding the timing or richening it up at the point where I leave would help?

Art,
Check out the Green car of Mike Robbins. He is an engine customer of mine and What I sent you in the PM is how I got his tuner, Dale Harwood, to set it up to get it going down the track at the hit and avoid spinning with the different NOS stages.
If you get lost or need help call me.
