looking at a 8500 lb superwinch (summit has the best deal so far) but has anybody have any experiance with mile marker or summits house brand?

8500 pound winch? What are you moving?.......the Queen Mary? I've got a 4500 pound superwinch and it is way overkill, but I used to have a 4400 pound car!

well, right now it's got a 77 3/4t suburban on it....

Yeah, what are you winching....... a tank? I have a Superwinch 5000 for my 3400 lb. Stocker and I thought it was overkill. All I can tell you is you get what you pay for! Jim

I used it when I got mine and ended up getting a 3000 winch for a Gen 3 camaro and no problems.
