Default Towing Permits

Anyone knows of the permit laws for a Motorhome & trailer. Mine is 80'. Also, Does anyone handle the permits? Happy New Years!! PB Candies

Permits are handled by states, counties and cities, depending on which roads you are traveling on.

Call Interstate Registration Service, Inc @ 1-800-8PERMIT and talk to John Wallace or Patty George. They do probably 80% of the trucks,trailers, etc for the NHRA circuit. Great people to work with and can anwser all your questions.

Another great option is JJ keller permits department. They can email or fax you a permit if you need it and they are very fast compared to some I have used.

I am 80 plus feet and been thru at lease 15 states with no problems. had a couple of tickets and never had to discuss the length. with that being said I hope that does not come back to bite me..

Florida has a one year permit for $15 that you can get online. There are some other things you will need (dot manual and marked pages etc) that I can supply for a 6 pak or so. Call me
