Question Stick Transmissions

Is there any truth to the rumor about NHRA allowing clutchless transmissions in Super stock??

You came to the dance a little late...

Page 2 in the forum has a disscussion about the clutchless transmissions.

Rulebooks states no clutchless. Rumor says different. I spoke with a friend who spoke with Leonard Long of G-Force who said he has built four clutchesless transmissions for S/S cars. I guess someone knows someone. I figure hydraulic t/o bearings are next for all the button-pushin-candy-asses-lookin-to-level-the-playing-field racers.

Both my cars are clutch type. Not figurin' on changin.
