It was my understanding that when Harvey Palash (Diamond P Productions) resigned from the board. he took all the rights to the footage of NHRA races. That is why you hardly ever see old footage in the ESPN productions.
Did Diamond P and NHRA kiss and make up? Bet some money changed hands. |

The NHRA acquired all of the Diamond P tapes a few years ago. It has just been a matter of somebody doing something with them.
