We wanted to give a heads up that there is talk about having a Quick 32 race on Saturday the 29th. We have few reasons for doing this race, and we would like to see what people think:
It would be two rounds of qualifying, and the quickest 32 cars on the property would pay $100 to the track after the field is established, and then would race based on a sportsman ladder. This means any type of car, no minimum or maximum e.t. to get in. The only rule is that you must dial with in .05 of your qualifying run, and can add .05 every round after that. We are looking for a full field of racers and are hoping to see a fast group. Saturday is the day we want to run this based on the final points day being on Sunday. What better way to race and get some laps, and race for a purse than this. As with all our Top Dragster races this year, quick turn arounds, and getting to lanes on first and second calls is required. These races move fast, and this has made our season successful and known for its efficiently. THIS IS NOT SET IN STONE, BUT BEING PROPOSED!!!! We will let you for sure this week. As with any thing like this, we want to hear your suggestions........... |

We just got the word from the track last night that the race will happen...
Any racer entering will pay normal entry to run on Saturday, and after two qualifing sessions, the quickest 32 will pay $100 to enter. The pay out will be determined by how many cars we get. This is a race that will give us some ideas of what may be done for next year. If we get a full field, we want to start by paying the GATE FEE for 1st round loser, and go from there. We will know after qualifing...... There has been a bunch of critisism over the minimum e.t. break taht the track wanted in the T/D series, and so on. So here is the chance for EVERYONE to get involved, and lay the ground work for next year. Wayne Hoffman Scott Hall |
