Stick Racers,
My 1990 Firebird is a ladder bar, mini tube project that will accommodate a 30 x 11 tire. Hoosier has a #18175 [29.5 X 10.5W] that is a stiff wall tire. M/T has #3064 [29.5 X 11.5] that could be run with a tube. Either of the tires will fit the tubs by using a 10" wheel. Let me hear about your tire experience. This car will weigh about 3050 with driver. SBC, manual trans, about 625 horse, low 10's performance range. Thanks Larry Woodfin, builder of Kinetic Art.

Mickey Thompson 29.5x10.5x15w used many times a very good hooking tire. I've went 9.80's at 137 on a set up kind of like yours 613 flywheel horse sbc and 3385 weight. If I were you I would go with the Mickey Thompsons they work the best and I've tried em all. The 29.5x10.5w is on my brothers blue firebird from pinks and it 60 footed low 1.30's

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I have already been looking closely at that tire. Do you run it tubeless?

The Mickeys are by far the most consistent tire for a stick.I never had much luck with the hoosiers.
