This will be my first fuel injected stocker and first time back in Stock in 10 years. (Now they tell me it's bottom bulb:-)
What is the "fuel of choice" for consistency and availability. I will run Div 5 and some Div 3 events. Thanks for the help, appreciate it. Jok |

Most everyone runs VP C-12 & buy it @ the track. I use Sunoco 110 it passes fine & last good but is a little slower.

I used C-12 and C-11 at times. C-11 might be a bit quicker.....but not much....I also used Sunoco purple and saw very little difference.....

We use C-11 or C-12. I would recommend either one. C-12 should be slightly cheaper.

Rockett says one of their customers with a BB Stocker picked up 18 HP on the dyno from C12 to the Rockett 118. As I understand it octane doesn't create hp as much as it prevents loss due to detonation. Where does the power difference come from? Not as much tech info on the VP site but the C12 specific gravity is .717 and the 118 is .704. Lighter specific gravity faster burn = hp?

Anyone ever use C 10 unleaded or stock/super stock VP? Pros, cons?? I gotta believe my car would run better on pump gas than race gas but I need something that will check that isn't $10 a gallon.
