Default New Bern Dragway

Any one from the Raleigh area race at New Bern Dragway? It has been many years since I have been there. My son asked about going and I not sure the drive time or the best towing route. Looked on their website and it appears to be a nice track.

The one and only Bob Rice (who often posts on this forum) is from New Bern.
Unsure if he has gone there or not, though.
He is quite the drag fan, though.

If it's the New Bern I'm thinking of, it's near the East coast past Kinston. Larry Whitley with the crate motor AMX tests there. I don't recall any details he may have given. But it's likely an unsanctioned track.

Mark:

I am glad to hear that you are doing okay. The New Bern track I remember I raced at over 25 years ago. We were looking at different tracks in North Carolina and were talking about maybe going down to run there one Saturday. I remember we had to cross the old draw bridge at New Bern to go out to the track.

What part of New Bern is it in? I used to live in Greenville, and would shoot every few weeks at a friend's farm just outside of New Bern (and we sometimes went to brunch in New Bern).
