Hi all,
I am having a heck of a time getting my valves adjusted correctly. My specs show that "HOT" they should be .028 Intake, .030 exhaust. My question is, using aluminum head on a cast block, what should be the setting COLD? Oh, it's a Ford crate 514 with a different roller cam. Thanks Bill |

As a general rule .004 tighter cold, dependent on valves and cyl. head. This should put you in the ballpark after warm up yank one cover and check a few to verify. Joe
