Default To much octane??

If I run 114 Octane (Rocket 114) in a 350 LT-1 efi Stocker will it be slower or unaffected by the additional octane?
I hate carrying two grades (because one of the engines requires 114) but if it is necessary I will. Just wondering if any of you guys have tried going from C12 to something that is rated higher??

Thanks for your input, appreciate it.

The SG for the fuel you're using is important

Should I look for similar Spec Grav to a fuel like C12?

Thanks for the help so far.

Higher octane fuel will usually cause you to run slower, because high octane fuel burns slower.Have tested several fuels and found the lower the better. just don't go too low, which can cause detonation

You could get away with running Rockett 111 in both cars. The specific gravity between the 111 and the 114 are the same(.726 vs .727) . We use Rockett in all of our cars and the 111 is some good *****.

this my be wrong BUT what I was told the more octane the more timing you need to run...? if this is true the n all you would have to do is some test & tune with the new fuel an timing.
