Looking for the best and most reliable lifter for the Stocker I just got.
'93 LT-1, it seems to eat lifters and just wondering if there is a better brand or maybe I am not adjusting them correctly?? What about the rockers? Is one brand or OEM replacement better then the other? If that is a Top Secret question, sorry. Just want to make it reliable, it won't be the fastest one out there. Thanks, Jok |

Jok...I had lifters from Bullet....very nice pieces. Rockers...Crane Nitro -Carb. Never had a problem with either and that engine is still running for it's present owner with the same parts in it. I adjusted the valves using the spin the pushrod method and a feeler gauge. I think I used .002" and feel for the pushrod to stop spinning freely......

I second Bullet, they have some of the finest products (lifters, cams, cranks).
