Tried one years ago, It put out 14 volts but very low amps. Now I use a100 amp alt & don,t worry about charging batteries. You can wire in a cut off switch if you are conserned about hp loss during a run

Billy, I have used the Shogun for five years and really like it. My car has a 900 CCA battery and charge it occasionally. What I really like about the Shogun is the light weight and simplicity.

Apologize for the Hi-Jack, but do you think it would be worthwhile to install a 55 amp mini on my roadster??? I run the usual electric fan, waterpump, dedenbear delay box....I don't have room for anything larger and have been looking at East Coast's mini....?????

Thanks in advance.
