I am looking for a date acquisition system Does anyone use the Altronics Informer Data Acquisition system? I am thinking about buying the Informer system and I am wondering If they are user friendly and easy to use. Additionally, if anyone owns one, would they buy this type/brand again?
The cost of this system is about $900.00. Does anyone recommend another brand? I currently have an Advantage Motorsports Data Acquisition sustem and I have trouble reading it. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks... I can be contacted at: jd4446@bellsouth.net

Thanks Todd. I am seriously looking at the Altronics Informer system. I would consider any and all systems. I would like to stay around the $1000.00 price range. I would not rule out the more expensive units. I really need a unit that will provide the needed information and one that is easy to use.

I have the RPM basic kit which records engine & driveshaft rpm. I later added a Daytona Sensors WEGO II wide band A/F ratio also sold by Randy at RPM. All told I have around $900 in the whole setup. Very easy to install & program. Randy provides excellent tech support not only during install, but also help with operation, etc.
