My car seems to like the heavy sidewall MT street radial tire. I want to go to a slick and need a taller tire as I am running out of motor now. Looking over the specs of the 9" wide, 92"-93" rollout radials from Goodyear, Hoosier, and M/T, the Goodyears weigh 26 lbs., the Hoosiers and M/T's are 23-24 lbs. Does this mean the sidewalls are thicker or stiffer on the Goodyear radials because the tire weighs more?

Hoosier makes 4 diffrent 9" radial tires in a slick, the CO7 and the CO6 compound and in two diffrent sizes a, 92" and 94" roll out.The CO7 is the standard weight tire and the CO6 is the light weight tire.If your car likes a stiff sidewalls you would be better off with the CO7.As for what roll out, what are your looking to do to the gear would decide that. What size of tre do you have on the car now?Do you want to take gear out are put more gear to it?How much air pressure are you running in the tires you have?
