Could someone please post the specific rule differences between the two sanctions? I have no NHRA rule book handy at the moment......thanks a lot.

What do I need to change on my IHRA car to pass tech at an NHRA event? The rules are different; I don't have an NHRA book for comparison.

Dave I can't think of a thing...Hp maybe rated differant. Also they check fuel @ every race, so you need a fuel check valve. Shoot me a private message if you have question about one thing.

I was looking for areas of differentiation like battery location, fuel tank/cell, radiator type, categories that my unreliable memory of the NHRA book tells me are potentially different. I think the HP factor is the same for my combination.

Radiator or driveshaft rule may be different. I believe IHRA permits aluminum radiators and maybe driveshafts, whereas NHRA does not. What about the 2 step switch? Two step must be pedal activated in NHRA.

Dave all the stuff like that are the same. Engine wise the only thing I can think of is pistons...IHRA says stock appering top...& NHRA ...well ...not that simple

Greg & Joe, thanks for replying; I'm still hoping that someone will have a rule book from each organization and post the differences....more concerned with details unrelated to the engine. I can chase down an NHRA book next week but it's a lazy Sunday afternoon and the "Cup" race hasn't started yet!!

Other rules include; roller rockers are not allowed in NHRA unless OEM, Battery must be mounted in the front in NHRA (although a second battery is allowed in the trunk). The 2-step must function on the brake/clutch pedal.
