Default Engine Paint

This may sound like a dumb question but, does the NHRA have any restrictions as far as what you can or can't paint on the engine. More specific the interface between the intake manifold and the cylinder head? Can those surfaces be painted or do they have to be bare steel?

Default Re: Engine Paint

Of course not. And if your really trying to wiggle around "can I use a thermal barrier coating" or something like that, I can't see that being a problem either.
