Hi,
I am new to the site and would appreciate any info. I would like to convert my No Box 1973 Duster to Super Stock. The car has been mini tubbed and frame connected, ladder bar, all steel with 12 point cage. The only thing removed from the car is the front bumper is changed to fiberglass and the hood. I have the originals which I could put back. My questions are with regards to drive train and what mods can be don, the NHRA rule book leaves something to be desired. I have a R3 small block that has lifter bushings and currently runs a stroker crank. Can you utilize aftermarket heads and intake? Can Lifter bushings be used? What is the diference between SS or SS/GT? Any more info would be greatly appreciated. |

Yes, you can run an after market intake. You must run the original type carb though. Some combinations are allowed after market replacement heads. It's best to get a hold of your div tech guy and burn his ear up on the phone.
