Default Stacking for Vegas

Man they sure what you there.Sportsman Stacking Information – Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals – March 31 – April 2, 2017

In an effort to eliminate bottlenecking, confusion, and aggravation, we will be using a number card system at The Strip at LVMS this year for sportsman stacking. Competitors will be given a numbered card, and rigs will be brought into the pits in order based on the number on the cards. As per the NHRA Schedule at: (Click Here for Schedule), stacking for the Denso Spark Plug NHRA Nationals at The Strip begins at 7 a.m., Wednesday, March 29th. Racers who stack prior to the appointed time will be penalized and issued cards starting at No. 101, while those who arrive after the appointed starting time will begin with No. 1. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

It just amazes me that LVMS and NHRA treat the customers like this with all the room there is at the LVMS facility.
Another issue is the Petro truck stop where all the racers mob on stacking morning and disrupt for an hour or so all their business.
LVNS could be a better neighbor and just stack as people arrive.
Being retired we usually come early and do things in Las Vegas.
This year I guess we can not come in on the weekend and do that as there are not many places to park a big motorhome and trailer for a few days.
Maybe I am just getting to old for all this. I just do not need the hassles.
That is the reason I skipped the Wild Horse mess this year and I won't be back until that mess is fixed. Maybe never because you can't fix stupid which is what that was in Feb of 2016 and I did not need that again.

Why would anyone care where they park or what number they are? There isn't a bad pit spot on the property.

Thanks for the reminder Rick. It was a fiasco last fall in Vegas. We had to move 4 times in 3 days. It was ridiculous. Next time we'll stack early and take the 100 card penalty. Very un-accommodating there for sure!
