Hey guys, what would be a *good* (as in for resale) price for a 426 Hemi Rat Roaster intake manifold?
Does anyone still run these? Thank You in advance. Craig |

Not worth much unless someone is wanting the old nostalgia look. These manifolds had backfire issues and needed a lot of work to get them to perform. We have a few and have sold some as cheap as $200 and some at $400 to the buyer who wants one.

Bob's correct on that. Not alot of worth cept for the guys wanting the look. Plenum too large,Puddle fuel (lots out there with cracks in the lids), poor fuel distribution, specially on the X Rams, runners too flat etc. etc, etc.
That being said, I'm always up to a challenge. Im currently working on a Xram RR to see what can be had from one. It's going to look like like a XRam from the outside, but internally will not be. Left plenum, left side of motor, right plenum right side of motor. Might have alot of hours in this thing just to throw it on the " that didn't work well" pile. But then again......... ??????? We'll find out liteweight |
