I would like to know what you guys are using for a brake pressure switch to use on a two step? I heard that there is one from a company called GEMS. But, I did not see anything in Grainger etc. If someone would recomend a switch and from where I would appreciate it. I heard that a brake pressure switch from a production car would work? I don't know if that is true. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought mine from GEMS. The website is kind of goofy and there are alot of options on how you want the switch to be made.

I've been using the one that came stock on my 64 Falcon. Screws into one of the ports on my linelock now that I'm using a non stock master cylinder. It's nonadjustable so I adjust reaction times with tire pressures.

I haven't checked yet, but I've been told that a Volkswagen brake light switch (not sure what year) will work.

Notch1320, thank you for the info. I tried contacing the man you suggest but he said that I have to order the 10 min. So that will not work.
Phillip, where did you buy your GEMS switch from? I left a messsage with GEMS with no return yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have thought about the stock brake pressure switch but the ones I have found have a very low pressure on them? I might be wrong. Thanks, please keep the ideas coming. Robert |

I ordered it from the website.
http://www.gemssensors.com They have a bunch of options but the one I ordered did what I wanted it to do and they pressure setting is adjustable unlike the old ford and VW switch's.

Phillip, I tried to order online at GEMS, but it would only allow me to order 10 at minimum. I will try again, that is why I tried to call them. Thank you for the info I will look up the switch you use.
