Please post up your favorite National Event track---- #1, best of best.
1. Treated best by people running the show. 2. Track prep and track smoothness, professionally-run event. 3.Pit location and condition, tear-down and tech fairness and professionalism. 4. Pit rest room facilities (cleanliness, etc.) 5. Overall yearly satisfaction w/the event (go back to the year 2000). 6. This can be either a NHRA or a IHRA track----A-1 tracks in Canada, too..... 7. Looking for POSITIVE comments, please. 8. Sportsman racers, especially stock/superstock, please...... Let's hear it......WJ Last edited by W J; 02-26-2010 at 09:23 PM. Reason: add content.... |

I realize it is a Sportsman race only however..... I have been to four Cajun SportsNationals at Belle Rose and all of the above requirements have been met plus more! Probably the best run, well thought out races ever produced! Great people, food, traction, racing and fun! What more is there? You can't top Belle Rose LA. Jim

Belle Rose for sure. Can't think of a National event where the sportsman racers (S/SS) got the prime treatment. Only the left over cow pastures and that's with all the trimmings, if you get the down wind drift.

Racers here in the great Northeast Division have several nice tracks but the best simply has to be Maple Grove Raceway - they treat Stock / Superstock better than most places and if the track is broke they will fix it -------- now if they can only do something about the rain ...................and the teardown garage is super ! ! ! !

If you leave out the National event part, Boise is a great place to race. They work real hard to put on a great event. Even when it rains, they dry the track quick and it hooks great!!!

You really can't put the Belle Rose sportsnationals race on the same level as a national event race because there are no pro cars there. If you are saying 1st class tracks then yes, Belle Rose is the best by far. But for NHRA nationals norwalk is the place to be hands down.
