OK, since most of us are done with racing for the year and can't wait until we start again, what was the high point of your 2009 Season? For me it was the runner up at the Pittsburgh Sportsman National against Craig Marshall in Stock Eliminator. (I guess the good Lord was sparing me the misery of going to the ill fated Rockingham World Finals). There were other good moments but this was 1 round from running for the World Championship.

Rockingham June 2009, i had 2 kids in the finals at the Divisional. Jonathon won Masters and Jason got R/U in Beginners. That R/U cost him the championship by 1 point. But it was a great year. 3 Iron men and a R/U in IHRA Jr competition.

I can't narrow it down to just one thing, but these moments top the list:
* Winning the IHRA Spring Nationals - first national event win in the U.S. * Winning 3 out of 4 days at the IHRA Div. 2 East Bracket Finals, including the main event... been 15 years since my last Bracket Finals championship! We (Pageland Dragway) won the team title, too, so having the entire team in the winner's circle pics was awesome! * Running -1.040 under in testing at Rockingham with my FF/SA Turismo, that used to be an index runner! Billy Nees magic. 'nuff said. Really was a pretty good season, in retrospect!

the start up of the Buckeye Stock/Superstock association and all the work behind it could be considered a highlight.
-although in WV, we'd prefer it be called the HHRA. -Hillbilly Hot Rod Association - that is!!
