I know this topic has been absolutely beaten to death, however I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for. I have a '71 Nova with Cal Tracs and a pump gas small block, and I know Santhuff springs are arguably the best. However, at $190 a pair they're not exactly a bargain. I bought the lightest Moroso springs for my car, and with 1750lb front end weight, the car still sat to high and I had to cut 1 coil to get it to sit where I want. My question is, has anybody had any luck with a factory replacement 4cyl Nova/6cyl with no a/c spring? Or, are there any specific MOOG part numbers that are really soft and will work in a small tire car? I'd like to put them in basically uncut if possible..Just curious is anyone is running anything other than a Moroso or Santhuff spring. Thanks.

With the Santhuffs springs, can anyone say that they are consistant from one pair to the next pair of same lbs. rating? I know with my Moroso's I had my front apart 2-3 times before I got it right. I hear stories of guys putting theres in and not touching a coil. With Santhuffs do they have the tech support to say what is needed for an application without the guy pulling front end apart a bunch of times trying to get front to sit right?
