Cape Breton Dragway NHRA National Open, Aug 30, 2025

The second of the two races of the Cape Breton National Open race and sixth race of the ACSSA 2025 season opened with Mike Ingram fresh off a race win and looking to build on his momentum. Temperatures were again in the 70s all day, with a DA of 1600-2100', and Water Grains in the 65-75 range. The field remained at 20 cars, and after one round of Qualifying we dove right into Eliminations. saw plenty of strong performances and close racing. John Armstrong stormed down the track to claim the top spot this day, with a -0.951 pass under his 1/8 mile Index.

Mike continued his dominating performance this season by making his way to the Final round once again, where on this day he faced David Garland. After the dust settled Mike was standing in the Winner?s Circle for the second time in as many days, cradling his fourth Wally of 2025. Congratulations to Mike on his incredible weekend, and to Dave on a strong showing as well!
