When I get back to my shop again I'll snag a pic of the tire off the car, it's paper thin where it wore on the frame rail.

May i suggest to look at the junction of the axle tube to the center section of your housing. You could find welds broken there which could also explain why your car lift the front driver side higher than the passenger side.

The plan right now is to replace both 4-link double adjusters on both upper bars and completely re-setup the 4 link to a true neutral setting. That way I can rule out any binding or pos/neg preload that might have been introduced in the car. I will also check the housing, 4-link brackets, and torque-boxes for any warping or damage. Right now I'm on hold with all my cars because my main workhorse (my mazda) needs work desperately and the transmission in my truck welded all of it's forward clutched together. Even if I had a raceable car (0 for 2 right now), I have no way to get either of them to the race track for the next few weeks.

Back in action! 2 tons of fun coming to a class race near you! Got two brand new double adjusters installed on the wagon this week. Did my best to set it up just like it came out. Thanks to Tim Stickles for the quick phone call helping me get it set back up. It ain't fast, but 3600#s is a whole lot of steel to get rolling! Next week I'll get some new tires mounted up for it as the ones on it now are destroyed from the broken four-link bar.

Dawson, that adjuster looks like it is extended quite a bit with not much thread in the tube ends. Is that the normal setup for your car?

These double adjuster have a lot of thread engagement, they are the same length as the adjuster that came out (5 inches). I set the bars up to be the same length they were before, and you can see the markings of there the old jam nuts were on the broken adjusters. there is that much thread engagement on the new ones as well. It looks like a lot less, mostly because the adjuster nut on the new adjusters is much shorter than the old ones. It appears to have less engagement, but its has at least an inch of engagement on each end.
